Who we are
Sarda Group is a Nepal-based promoter group with businesses and investment positions across manufacturing, financial services, energy, and trade. The group is rooted in Biratnagar, where its manufacturing businesses are based, with a corporate office in Kathmandu.
Rather than operating as a single corporate entity, the group functions as a collection of long-term commitments — some as a founder building from the ground up, others as a promoter or investor backing institutions already in motion.
How we work
Two roles run through everything the group does. As a builder, the group has founded and manufactures consumer and infrastructure goods directly — hygiene products, food, geotechnical materials, and electric vehicles for Nepal’s growing logistics sector.
As a promoter and investor, the group has taken founding or anchor positions in banking, insurance, microfinance, and hydropower — sectors where capital and long-term commitment matter as much as operations. Pioneer Investment Company is the vehicle through which much of this second role is carried out.
